En su 52 edición, los Premios Grammy 2010, se transmitieron desde el Staples Center en Los Ángeles, con una ceremonia que tuvo momentos emotivos como el tributo a Michael Jackson en donde su figura resucitó por medio de una proyección en 3D del video que el Rey del Pop había preparado para su gira.
Beyoncé fue la gran ganadora de la noche, a pesar de perder el Disco del Año ante la talentosa y jovencita Taylor Swift.

Como se esperaba, Beyonce arrasó en la categoría R&B – además de vencer a la favorita para mejor canción, Lady GaGa, quien a su vez venció en las categorías de Mejor disco y Mejor canción electrónica. Taylor Swift por su parte, arrasó en la categoría Country, incluso llevándose el premio al mejor disco Country – todo un logro a su corta edad, y nada mas ni nada menos que el Premio a Disco del AÑO.
En pop, los triunfadores fueron esta vez los Black Eyed Peas y rock, definitivamente Kings of Leon.
Y en cuanto a los latinos, Calle 13 y La Quinta Estación se llevaron el premio a casa.

Muchos artistas pop en la gala y en las nominaciones, es increible que los premios mayores hallan sido ocupados por artistas pop muy de moda en el mundo juvenil actual, pareciera que las ternas se hubieran hecho mas basados en las listas del Billboard que en la critica musical especializada, talves los organizadores tratan de recuperar la audencia y el interes perdido en los ultimos años apostando por los artistas del momento, pero son los tiempos actuales muy diferentes, hasta hace poco los Grammy se caracterizaban por su excelencia y su bien elaborado equipo con un olfato musical unico, que combinaba popularidad y originalidad , un ejemplo :Michael Jackson en 1983 con solo un album multiventas “Thriller” y 2 singles que ni siquiera figuraron en el Top 10 del Billboard del aquel año se llevo 9 premios, toda una sorpresa.

Los premios quedaron excelentes como siempre, me alegre mucho por calle 13 y la 5ta estacion, ademas de los que se llevó Beyoncé y Taylor, me hubiera gustado que fuese David Guetta quien se hubiera llevado todos los premios en las categorias en las que estaba nominado. Se extraño a la bella Christina Aguilera, la cual cantó tan bello como siempre en el concierto por el desastre de Haití. Saludos….
